Acquisition of San Antonio Colombia
- A key milestone for Estrella -
In June 2013, Estrella entered into an agreement with San Antonio International Oil & Gas Services LLC for the acquisition of San Antonio International Co. Inc. ("SAIC"). This acquisition was completed in August of the same year and both companies are currently integrated.
Estrella and SAI-Colombia have joined forces to align interests, achieve operational synergies and thus maximize shareholder value, becoming the largest Rigs service provider in Colombia, with a fleet of more than 37 rigs.
The new Company is consolidated and integrates experience, knowledge, best practices and commercial relationships, which allows it to improve its competitiveness due to costs, size and technological capacity, as well as increase its innovative capacity, use complementary resources and manage even more efficient.
